Casa Cain is a well-built, modern, wooden holiday house in El Paso on the sunny westside of the Canary Island La Palma. Casa Cain is ideal for walkers who would like to stay a few days in the central western part of the island during their walking holiday. From here you can explore the El Paso area, the Caldera de Taburiente and the Volcano route and the Cumbrecita.
The house stands in the garden of an English couple, they will help you where needed, but they will respect your privacy.

Casa Cain, is an unusual combination on La Palma, it is a wooden house, accepts short-lets and also has the luxury of a large swimming pool. The pool is covered and sheltered and has toilets and an outdoor shower. From here you have views over the area and down towards Los Llanos and the sea and up towards the mountains. There are sunbeds and a parasol.
The pool is exclusively for use of the guests of Casa Cain ... the owners might use it when you are not there.

Accommodation Casa Cain.

In the living/sleeping part of Casa Cain are a sofa, dining table with chairs and a very comfortable bed of 150x190M.

In the TV-corner is SAT-tv/radio, a DVD-player and you will find movies and books.

The kitchen is provided with all you need to prepare your meals.
There is a 4-ring hob, microwave, refrigerator and a good selection of kitchen utensils and cutlery.

In the bathroom is a luxurious massage-shower, lovely for relaxing tired and aching limbs after a days walking and exploring the island.

Casa Cain stands in a secluded corner of the beautiful natural 2000m² garden. In the garden is a variety of plants, herbs and trees. You can pick oranges, strawberries and avocados in season and enjoy the pure home-grown taste. In front of the house is a small patio, a barbecue and a large dinning table under the trees.

Area

From the airport it is about 30 minutes drive to Casa Cain. Los Llanos just over 1km down the hill and El Paso is about 1.5km up the hill.
Los Llanos is the largest town on the west of the island and El Paso is the largest municipality on the island. In both towns you will find many restaurants, shops and tourist board office and also a dispensing chemist, doctors, banks and a post office. El Paso has a silk museum.
Outside the towns of El Paso and Los Llanos are smaller roads with typical Canary style houses.
Walking in and around the Caldera de Taburiente, the worlds largest erosion crater, is stunning. At the entrance of the Caldera is a visitors centre.
Within 2 minutes drive or 25 minutes walk you are in Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses.
The beaches of Puerto Naos, Tazacorte and the smaller beaches it is about a 15 minutes drive.
